Ellinore and the Electronic Eye

Ellinore is smitten with the camera. She started snapping the shutter at will this past summer and has continued with her image harvesting across the fall and into winter. Her subjects are mostly farm animals and plants, though she has also taken an interest in faces and the abstract. Christmas brought her a a digital SLR and her art elective in school this year is black and white photography. She has been working with a film camera and in the darkroom at a studio in Brattleboro. Here is a sampling of Ellinore’s way of looking at the world.
